How to recognize Alcohol Addiction


No matter how simple the alcohol problem appears, alcohol abuse symptoms should not be ignored. If an individual or any dear and dear one is suffering from this problem it is necessary to identify the warning signs and take help of professional as soon as possible.

Some of the most common symptoms of alcohol abuse are:

1. Making excuses for drinking such as to relax, deal with stress or feel normal.

2. Drinking alone or in secrecy.

3. Prioritizing drinking over other responsibilities and obligations.

4. Forgetfullness or temporary blackouts.

5. Irritability or mood swings.

Eating Disorder

An eating disorder is a mental disorder defined by abnormal eating habits that negatively affect a person's physical or mental health. They include binge eating disorder, where people eat a large amount in a short period of time; anorexia nervosa, where people eat very little due to a fear of gaining weight and thus have a low body weight; bulimia nervosa, where people eat a lot and then try to rid themselves of the food; pica, where people eat non-food items; rumination syndrome where people regurgitate food; avoidant restrictive food intake disorder , where people have a lack of interest in food; and a group of other specified feeding or eating disorders. Anxiety disorders, depression and substance abuse are common among people with eating disorders. These disorders do not include obesity.
Nervosa
Anorexia nervosa, often referred to simply as anorexia, is an eating disorder, characterized by low weight, food restriction, fear of gaining weight, and a strong desire to be thin. Many people with anorexia see themselves as overweight even though they are, in fact, underweight. Bulimia nervosa, also known as simply bulimia, is an eating disorder characterized by binge eating followed by purging. Binge eating refers to eating a large amount of food in a short amount of time.

Start a day with some Positive habits

Everybody is busy with routine .Almost every individual now n then face pressures and problems in all walks of life. It becomes necessary for every individual to stay fit to face life. If we are accustomed with positive habits we can lead a happy and stressful life. So here are some tips to follow to lead a positive life:
1. Be an earlier riser .Everyday has a fix routine of going to bed and waking up. Getting up early everyday gives a good routine.
2. Start your day with an exercise. At least we should workout for 45 minutes everyday .
3. Have a time table for the day so that all the work gets completed within that particular day and hence we can act accordingly.
4 .Always be alert and be a good observer.
5. Try to learn new things everyday and be greedy for it
6. Reading books alteast an hour everyday helps to gain knowledge .
7. Never tell lies or never indulge in gossips.
8. Have a hobbit of writing diary everyday and note all good things, experiences in it.
9. Always accompany good people who are motivated and focused about their job.

Depression is getting a severe problem worldwide. Day by day many people are prey for this. In the survey done for mental illness it was found that depression is the commonest psychiatry problem today. Depression generally referred as a feeling of sadness or loss of interest. It is a persistent and pervasive feeling.

How to deal with social phobia?
First lets talk about what is social phobia.
Social phobia is a type of anxiety disorder which has symptoms of incapacitating anxiety related to particular social situations, leading to a desire for escape or avoidance .People with social anxiety disorder, everyday social interactions cause irrational anxiety, fear, self consciousness and embarrassment.
Feared activities include almost any type of social interactions, especially small groups, dating, parties, talking to strangers, restaurants, interviews etc.
Usually is onset during teenage.
Both genetic and environmental factors play a role.
Now talking about symptoms-The list includes:
Physical symptoms like Blushing, trembling, dry mouth, perspiration, palpitation, nausea, shaking when exposed to feared situations.
Stammering may be present.
This may lead to social isolation, hypervigilance, feeling of inferiority, low self esteem.
An individual always have the fear of being screened or judged.
